On Saturday, October 9, 2010, at about 2:08 a.m., police responded to a shooting at 605 Whiteside Place.
The victim was discovered inside the apartment building, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency personnel, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim of Homicide #48/2010 (Jermaine DERBY) was discovered in the parking lot in front of the same apartment building, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts by emergency personnel, this victim was also pronounced dead at the scene.
