On Thursday, January 17, 2008, at about 6:04 p.m., police responded to a 911 call in the area of Broadview Avenue and Gerrard Street E.
The victim was discovered inside the Fu Yao Supermarket (643 Gerrard Street E), suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to hospital, where he died shortly after arrival.
