Cops For Cancer
Sergeant Joe Apollinaro (1) was the first of more than one hundred police employees who allowed their heads to be shaved in support of Toronto's first annual "Cops for Cancer" campaign. More than $50,000.00 was raised for the Canadian Cancer Society.

Chinatown Community Police Gala Fund-Raiser
Members of Toronto's Chinese community gathered with police officers and other leaders at a gala dinner which raised funds fro youth scholarships and for the purchase of police bicycles which are currently being used by officers in 14 and 52 Divisions.
