A 50 year old male, owner of Coffee Time, 1220 Woodbine Avenue, reports that on November 18, 2009, at approximately 0620 hours, two male suspects entered the premises and approached the counter. One suspect removed the cash register, then both suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction. No injuries were sustained by the victim. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence. Description of Suspect #1: Male, 30 to 35 years, 5’11” to 6’1”, 169 pounds, medium build. Suspect #2: Male, white, 30 to 35 years, 5’5” to 5’6”, 141 pounds, thin build.

Robbery (Mugging) - 33 Division
A 36 year old male reports that on November 18, 2009 at approximately 1955 hours, he was at the underground parking lot of an apartment building in the No. 33 Division area when a male suspect approached him. The suspect indicated he was armed, although no weapon was seen and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. No injuries were sustained by the victim. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described person in connection with this offence. Charge(s): November 18, 2009 – Robbery (business) while armed with Firearm, Disguise with Intent, Fail to Comply with Probation.
Arrested by Members of No. 54 Division, Investigated by Members of the Hold-Up Squad.
On November 18, 2009 at about 2020 hours, two male suspects (one still outstanding) entered Glebe Mart Convenience Store, 156 Glebemount Avenue and approached the counter. One suspect wearing a disguise and armed with a handgun grabbed the victim, while the second suspect grabbed a quantity of cigarettes, cigars and lighters from the counter and a quantity of cash from the till. The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction. No injuries were sustained by the victim. Police were notified and as result, the YOUNG OFFENDER was arrested a short time later. At the time of the arrest, the YOUNG OFFENDER was found to be in possession of a handgun, and also failed to comply with conditions of his probation. Charged accordingly. No recovery has been made. Investigation continuing.

Robbery (Swarming) - 32 Division
A 55 year old male reports that on November 18, 2009 at approximately 2030 hours, he was in the vicinity of Church Avenue and Dudley Avenue when four male suspects and a female suspect approached him. One suspect produced a knife, pointed it at the victim and a struggle ensued. The suspect pushed the victim against a fence, knocked him to the ground, while two other suspects kicked the victim and another suspect stood watch. A passerby stopped to help the victim, and all the suspects fled the scene empty-handed eastbound on Church Avenue towards Willowdale Avenue. The victim sustained minor injuries and will seek his own medical attention. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence. Description of Suspect #1: Male, white, 19 to 20 years, 5’8”, thin build, short dark brown hair. Suspect #2: Male, white, 20 to 21 years, 5’7” to 5’8”, thin build, brush cut black hair. A 59 year old female reports that on November 19, 2009 at approximately 0030 hours, she was in the vicinity of Eastern Avenue and Mosley Street when an unknown suspect on a bicycle approached her from behind. The suspect grabbed the victim’s purse and was knocked to the ground. The suspect then fled the scene northbound on Leslie Street. The victim sustained minor injuries, but refused medical attention. A 27 year old male reports that on November 19, 2009 at approximately 0200 hours, he was walking in the area of Berry Road and Stephen Drive when he was approached from behind by an unknown suspect. The suspect struck the victim about the head with an unknown object causing the victim to fall to the ground and become unconscious. The suspect removed the cash from the victim’s wallet and his cellular telephone. The victim was transported to hospital where he was treated for his injuries. One suspect grabbed the victim’s purse and a struggle ensued. The suspect grabbed the victim’s hair causing her to fall to the ground. The suspects then fled the scene with the victim’s purse and cellular telephone in an unknown direction. The victim sustained minor injuries and will seek her own medical attention.
