A 16 year old male reports that on November 16, 2009 at approximately 1530 hours, he was in the vicinity of Jane Street and Finch Avenue West when a male suspect approached him and demanded his property. The suspect punched the victim about the mouth, indicating he was armed although no weapon was seen then grabbed the victim’s iPod Touch. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victim sustained minor injuries and will seek his own medical attention. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described person in connection with this offence. Robbery (Purse Snatch) - 22 Division
A 56 year old female reports that on November 17, 2009 at approximately 1835 hours, she was in a parking lot on Lakeshore Boulevard West when a vehicle pulled over besides her. One suspect on the passenger side grabbed the victim’s purse and a struggle ensued. The vehicle started moving forward, at which time the victim’s foot struck a speed bump, knocking her to the ground. The suspects drove off towards Lakeshore Boulevard West. The victim sustained minor injuries and will seek her own medical attention. A 14 year old male reports that on November 16, 2009 at approximately 1500 hours, he was in the vicinity of Coxwell Avenue and Queen Street East when four male suspects approached him. One suspect grabbed the victim, and another suspect ordered him to empty his pockets. The suspects removed the victim’s jacket, a quantity of cash, TTC Metropass and a debit card from his wallet then demanded the access code. The victim complied. The suspects fled the scene southbound on Queen Street East. No injuries were sustained by the victim.
