A 43 year old employee of Pizza Nova, 1701 Martin Grove Road, reports that on November 2, 2009 at approximately 1808 hours, a male entered the premises, produced a handgun and demanded cash. The victim did not comply and the suspect fled the scene empty-handed in an easterly direction. No injuries were sustained by the victim. Fire - Determined - 12 Division

On November 2, 2009 at approximately 1756 hours, a fire was discovered in 5 Rutherford Avenue. Toronto Fire Services attended under the direction of Chief Barreia and extinguished the blaze. The cause of the fire was determined to be an unattended candle, in the upstairs bedroom. No injuries were sustained. Damage to the building and contents is estimated at $50,000.00.

A 17 year old male reports that on November 2, 2009 at approximately 1900 hours he was in the area of Wellesworth Drive and Faversham Crescent when he was approached by two male suspects. One suspect removed the victim’s necklace and attempted to flee the scene, when the victim apprehended one suspect. The victim was approached by four suspects who struck the victim about the body and removed his wallet and cell phone. The suspects fled the scene eastbound.
