Fire Undermined - 53 Division
 
On October 30, 2009 at approximately 1552 hours, a fire was discovered at a residence on Chedlington Place. Toronto Fire Services attended under the direction of Platoon Chief Tony Bellavance and extinguished the blaze.  The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. No injuries were sustained. Damage to the building is estimated at approximately 1,000,000.00.

Robbery (Mugging) - 12 Division

A 15 year old male reports that on October 30, 2009 at approximately 1630 hours, he was walking in the area of Pine Street and Lawrence Avenue West when he was approached from behind by two male suspects.  The suspects engaged the victim in conversation.  One suspect grabbed the victim’s iPod and both suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.  No injuries were sustained by the victim.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1: Male, black, 15-17 years, 5’5”-5’7”, 119 – 130 pounds, short black hair, brown eyes, medium build.   Suspect #2:  Male, black, 15-17 years, 5’5” – 5’7”, short black hair, brown eyes, medium build.

Robbery (Swarming) - 53 Division

A 25 year old female reports that on October 30, 2009 at approximately 1807 hours, she was exiting a bus at a subway station in the area of Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue West, when she was approached from behind by three male suspects.  One suspect removed a blackberry from the victim’s purse.  The victim grabbed her blackberry from the suspect and the suspect then slapped the victim’s face.  The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1: Male, black, 18-19 years, 5’6”-5’7”, medium build.  Suspect #2 - #3:  Male, black, 18-19 years.

Robbery (Mugging) - 12 Division

A 14 year old male reports that on October 30, 2009 at approximately 1900 hours, he was in a parking lot in the area of Culford Drive and Lawrence Avenue West when he was approached by two male suspects.  The suspect made a demand for the victim’s cellular telephone. The victim complied.  The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction.  No injuries were sustained by the victim.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1:  Male, white, 5’7”-5’8”, 130-141 pounds, thin build.  Suspect #2:  Male, black, 5’6”-5’7”, 130 -141 pounds, thin build.

Robbery (Business) - 55 Division

A 49 year old male owner of Stop n Go, 1383 Queen Street East, reports that on October 30, 2009 at approximately 2330 hours, two male suspects wearing disguises entered the premises and approached the counter.  One suspect armed with a knife went behind the counter and made a demand for cash and TTC tickets. The suspect removed cash from the cash register and both suspects fled the scene westbound on Queen Street East. No injuries were sustained by the victim.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1:  Male, white, 25-30 years, 5’11”, thin build.  Suspect #2:  Male, white, 25-30 years, 5’9”, thin build.

Robbery (Business) - 22 Division

A 33 year old male employee of Mac’s Convenience Store, 290 The West Mall, reports that on October 31, 2009 at approximately 0059 hours, three male suspects wearing disguises entered the premises. One suspect approached the victim and sprayed him with an unknown substance.  The suspects removed an unknown amount of products from the shelves and fled the scene in a vehicle southbound on Rayside Drive.  Toronto EMS attended the scene and treated the victim at the scene.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1:  Male, white, 20-25 years, 6’4”, 200 – 220 pounds, medium build.  Suspect #2:  Male, white, 20-25 years, 5’8”, thin build.  Suspect #3:  Male, white 20-25 years, 5’8”, medium build.

Robbery (Home Invasion) - 51 Division

Two males, ages 33 and 20, report that on October 30, 2009 at approximately 1030 hours, they were in their dwelling in the area of Wellesley Street East and Jarvis Street when one victim answered a knock on the door and two male suspects entered the premises.  One suspect punched the victim about the face and the suspects removed two wallets containing a quantity of cash and identification and a cellular telephone.  The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction.  The victims suffered minor injuries, but will seek their own medical attention.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1: Male, black, 24 years, 5’10”, 161 pounds, thin build, black hair.  Suspect #2: Male, white, 22 years, 5’7”, 150 pounds, medium build, blue eyes.

A 28 year old male delivery person of Pizza Nova, 1928 Queen Street East, reports that on October 31, 2009 at approximately 0236 hours, he was in the area of Cassells Avenue and Golfview Crescent when he was approached by three male suspects.  One suspect removed a food order from the victim and punched the victim about the face.  The suspects then fled the scene westbound on Cassells Avenue.  The victim suffered minor injuries, but will seek his own medical attention.
