Robbery (Swarming) – 42 Division

A 16 year old male reports that on October 27, 2009 at approximately 1609 hours, he was in the area of Finch Avenue East and McCowan Road, when he was approached by six male suspects.  The suspects pushed the victim and made a demand for cash and his property.  One of the suspects removed the victim’s IPOD and fled the scene in an easterly direction.  The victim attempted to get his IPOD back.   At that time the suspect dropped the victim’s IPOD.  The suspects fled the scene empty-handed in an unknown direction.  No injuries were sustained by the victim.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1: Male, black, 16 to 18 years, 6’1” to 6’3”, black short hair.  Suspect #2 to Suspect #6:  Male, black.

City of Toronto, Etobicoke District, 320 Bering Avenue, reports that between 1530 hours, October 27, 2009 and 0830 hours, October 28, 2009, entry was gained into the premises by forcing a fence.  Removed were three heavy equipment trucks containing industrial type equipment.

Charge(s):  October 27, 2009 – Robbery (Financial), Disguise with Intent

Arrested and Investigated by Members of No. 54 Division and the Hold-Up Squad.

On May 16, 2009 at approximately 0924 hours, a male suspect wearing a disguise attended the Royal Bank, 2780 Danforth Avenue, approached the counter and demanded money.  The victim complied and the suspect then fled the scene in an unknown direction.  The victim sustained no injuries.  As a result of investigation, HARDWICK was arrested on October 27, 2009.  Charged accordingly.  No recovery has been made.
