A 28 year old male employee and a 56 year old female owner of Max Mini Mart, 2286 Islington Avenue, report that on October 22, 2009 at approximately 2110 hours, two male suspects wearing disguises entered the premises and approached the front counter. A third suspect waited outside the store as a look out. One suspect produced a black handgun and made a demand for cash, while the other suspect walked to the cash register and removed a quantity of cash. The victims complied. The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction. The victims did not sustain any injuries. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence. Description of Suspect #1: Male, 19 to 20 years, 61, 141 pounds, thin build. Suspect #2: Male, 58, 141 pounds, thin build. Suspect #3: Male, 57 to 59, 130 to 145 pounds, thin build.

The suspect made a demand for cash and indicated that he had a weapon, although no weapon was seen. The victims complied and the suspect removed a cellular telephone, mp3 player and headphones. The suspect fled the scene heading southbound on Elm Road. The victims did not sustain any injuries. On October 19, 2009 at approximately 1300 hours a 25 year old female was in the area of Scarlett Road and Dundas Street West when she was approached by a male suspect. The suspect sexually assaulted the victim. The victim made good her escape. The victim did not require medical attention. Police were notified and as a result SADEGHIRAHIMABADI was arrested on October 22, 2009. Charged accordingly.

On Friday October 23, 2009, at approximately 0715 hours, a Chevrolet motor vehicle was travelling westbound on Finch Avenue East near Blackbird Gate in the passing lane. The victim was crossing Finch Avenue East from the south side to the north side when the driver of the motor vehicle struck the victim. The driver of the Chevrolet motor vehicle was taken to hospital where he was treated and released. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The Coroners Office was notified. Investigated by members of Traffic Services.
