A 28 year old male reports that on June 28, 2009 at approximately 2100 hours he was in the area of Cedarvale Avenue and Strathmore Boulevard when he was approached by three male suspects. One of the suspects made a demand for cash. The victim did not comply. Two of the suspects pushed and hit the victim about the upper body. The third suspect searched the victims pockets and removed a quantity of cash. The suspects fled the scene northbound on Cedarvale Avenue. Minor injuries were sustained by the victim and he will seek his own medical attention. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence. A 19 year old male reports that on June 29, 2009 at approximately 1210 hours, he was in the area of John Garland Boulevard and Martin Grove Road when a vehicle with five male suspects pulled up beside him. One of the suspects exited the vehicle, approached the victim and made a demand for his personal belongings. The victim refused. The suspect then produced a handgun and pointed it at the victim. The other suspects, all armed with handguns exited the vehicle and surrounded the victim.
