A 25 year old male reports that on June 25, 2009 at approximately 2224 hours, he was in the area of Meadowvale Road and Sheppard Avenue East when he was approached by a male suspect. The suspect produced a handgun and made a demand for the victim’s necklace. The victim complied. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. No injuries were sustained by the victim. A 48 year old male reports that on June 26, 2009 at 0004 hours, he was in the area of Old Finch Road and Morningside Avenue when he was approached from behind by four male suspects. One of the suspects hit the victim in the face while the other hit him from behind causing the victim to fall to the ground. The suspects fled the scene with the victim’s backpack containing his personal belongings in an unknown direction. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported by Toronto EMS to a hospital for medical attention. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence. A 23 year old female reports that on June 26, 2009 at approximately 0040 hours, she was in the area of Jane Street and Sheppard Avenue West when she was approached by a female suspect. The suspect grabbed the victim by the neck and attempted to remove her purse. A struggle ensued. The suspect punched the victim several times in the face, knocked her to the ground and kicked her in the face. The suspect fled the scene with the victim’s purse in a southerly direction. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported by Toronto EMS to a hospital for medical attention. The suspect pointed the handgun at the victim and made a demand for her purse and cell phone. The victim did not comply. The suspect assaulted the victim and threatened to shoot her before fleeing the scene with the victim’s personal effects westbound on Finch Avenue East. The victim sustained injuries and was transported by Toronto EMS to a hospital for medical attention.
