A 16 year old male reports that on June 24, 2009 at approximately 1615 hours he was in the area of Yonge Street and Shaftsbury Avenue when he was approached by a male suspect.  The suspect produced a handgun and made a demand for cash.  The victim complied.  The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction.  No injuries were sustained by the victim.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described person in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect: Male, black, 15-17 years, 5’10”, brown eyes.

Robbery (Purse Snatch) - 55 Division

A 29 year old female reports that on June 24, 2009 at approximately 1730 hours she was in the area of Gerrard Street East and Boulton Avenue when she was approached by two male suspects.  One of the suspects removed the victim’s purse and both suspects fled the scene eastbound on Gerrard Street East.  No injuries were sustained by the victim.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1: Male, white, 20-25 years, thin build, blond hair.  Suspect #2: Male, white, 20-25 years, thin build.

Investigated and Arrested by Members of No. 55 Division

Between April 9, 2009 and June 24, 2009 a male suspect called 9-1-1 approximately 100 times.  On 21 occasions the suspect threatened to kill a police officer and their families and stated that he had already killed a police officer.  On June 24, 2009, through investigation, DENEAULT was arrested by Members of No. 55 Division.  Charged accordingly.  Investigation continuing.

Robbery (Vehicle Jacking) - 32 Division

A 56 year old male reports that on June 25, 2009 at approximately 0105 hours he was in his vehicle in the area of Yonge Street and Empress Avenue when he was approached by two male suspects.  One of the suspects opened the victim’s car door and demanded he exit the vehicle.  The victim complied.  Both suspects fled the scene in the vehicle northbound on Yonge Street.  No injuries were sustained by the victim.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1: Male, black, 23-27 years, thin build.  Suspect #2: Male, black, 23-27 years, 5’11”, medium build.

Robbery (Purse Snatch) - 32 Division

An 18 year old female reports that on June 25, 2009 at approximately 0115 hours she was in the area of Dufferin Street and Wilson Avenue when she was approached by three male suspects.  One of the suspects grabbed the victim’s purse and a struggle ensued.  The suspect pushed the victim and all of the suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.  No injuries sustained by the victim.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1: Male, black, 21-27 years, 5’10”-6’, 150-161 pounds, medium build.  Suspect #2: Male, black, 21-27 years.  Suspect #3: Male, white, 21-27 years.

Robbery (Swarming) - 12 Division

Two males ages 17 years old and 18 years old report that on June 25, 2009 at approximately 0100 hours they were in the area of Gulliver Road and Comay Road when they were approached by three male suspects wearing disguises.  Two of the suspects made a demand for cash.  The victims did not comply.  The suspects then searched the victims’ pockets and removed an iPhone and a quantity of cash.  The suspects fled the scene southbound on Comay Road.  No injuries were sustained by the victims.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect #1: Male, black, 16-20 years, 5’8”-5’9”, 141-150 pounds, thin build, black hair.  Suspect #2: Male, black, 16-20 years, 5’5”-5’6”, 165-185 pounds, medium build.  Suspect #3: Male, black, 16-20 years, 5’6”-5’7”, 141-150 pounds, thin build.

A 52 year old female reports that on June 25, 2009 between 1050 hours and 1115 hours, she was in the area of Gerrard Street East and Broadview Avenue when a male suspect approached her and grabbed a change purse from her hands.  The suspect fled the scene eastbound on Gerrard Street East.  No injuries were sustained by the victim.  Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described person in connection with this offence.  Description of Suspect: Male, white, 13 to 15 years, 4’9” to 5’3”, 110 to 125 pounds, medium build, blond to light brown short hair.
