On June 23, 2009 at approximately 1449 hours, the now deceased was a pedestrian crossing St.Helens Avenue, on the south side of Bloor Street West, when she was struck by a truck turning left onto Bloor Street West. The now deceased was pronounced dead by Dr. Fulton via Sunnybrook link. Investigated by Members of Traffic Services.

Robbery (Mugging) - 53 Division
A 14 year old male reports that on June 23, 2009 at approximately 1915 hours, he was in the vicinity of St.Clair Avenue East and Avoca Avenue when he was approached from behind by two male suspects. One of the suspects produced a handgun, pointed it at the victim and made a demand for his cellular phone and personal effects. The victim complied. Both suspects fled the scene eastbound on St.Clair Avenue East. No injuries were sustained by the victim. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence. Description of Suspect #1: Male, black, 19 to 24 years, 60, 141 pounds, thin build. Suspect #2: Male, black, 18 to 23 years, 61, 161 pounds, thin build, black hair.

An 18 year old male reports that on June 23, 2009 at approximately 2230 hours, he was in the vicinity of Dundas Street West and Ossington Avenue when he was approached by a male suspect. The suspect made a demand for cash and the victim did not comply. The suspect produced a knife and threatened to stab the victim. The victim complied. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. No injuries were sustained by the victim. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described person in connection with this offence. Description of Suspect: Male, black, 23 to 25 years, 58 to 59, 141 to 150 pounds, medium build, black hair in cornrows.

A 16 year old female reports that on June 24, 2009 at approximately 0130 hours, she was in the area of Albion Road and Islington Avenue when she was approached by two male suspects. One of the suspects removed the victims purse and both suspects fled the scene in a green vehicle heading southbound on Islington Avenue. No injuries were sustained by the victim. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence. Two males, ages 13 years, report that on June 23, 2009 at approximately 1515 hours, they were walking in the area of Cherokee Boulevard and Finch Avenue East, when they were approached by three male suspects. The suspects engaged the victims in a conversation and made a demand for the contents of their wallets. The victims complied. The suspects then fled the scene towards Finch Avenue. No injuries were sustained by the victims. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence. Robbery (Swarming) 55 Division
Two males, ages 20 years, report that on June 23, 2009 at approximately 2145 hours, they were in the area of Lakeshore Boulevard East and Coxwell Avenue, when they were approached by eight male suspects. One suspect grabbed one victims skateboard and a struggle ensued. The second suspect kicked the second victim about the face and back causing him to fall on his skateboard. The victims managed to make good their escape. The victims sustained minor injuries and will seek their own medical attention. Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.
