Cleamart DOUGLAS 36/M Mr. DOUGLAS was also known as "Moussie".

Details of Investigation
The following information is a brief synopsis surrounding the investigation into the murder of Cleamart "Moussie" DOUGLAS. On Thursday, 10 May 2001 at approximately 12:52 hours, a 9-1-1 call was placed for “sounds of gunshots” at the rear of 43 Regent Street. This premises is in close proximity of 51 Division Police Station. Upon their arrival, police located the victim lying in the back yard suffering from apparent gunshot. Police escorted the victim with the Emergency Medical Services to Hospital. At 1:24pm, Doctors pronounced Mr. DOUGLAS dead. At approximately 1:15pm, members of the Homicide Squad were informed of this matter and took charge of the investigation. Investigators are askibng for information regarding a person of interest in this case who is knopwn as 'Platta" or "Plat-Up" The investigation continues.
