Details of Investigation
On Saturday, September 29th, 1979, the daughter of Celia and Isaac Airst and her husband, spent the evening with her mother and brother Avrom.

At 10:00 p.m. Avrom was dropped off at the home at 657 Glenciarn Avenue while the other three parties went to downtown Toronto. Isaac was home in bed for the entire evening.

Celia Airst was dropped off at the home at about 1:00 a.m. on Sunday September 30th. Later in the day at about 1:00 p.m., the daughter and husband returned to the house to visit. They found the front door unlocked and Celia laying on the floor in the foyer. She had been bludgeoned and stabbed in the back. Isaac and Avrom was found bludgeoned to death in their beds. There was no sign of forced entry and no evidence of robbery or theft.
