On Saturday, December 6, 2009, at 3:25 a.m., police responded to a call on San Pietroway for the sound of gun shots. Officers attended and located a man in the parking lot of San Pietroway, suffering from an obvious gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital via emergency run, but succumbed to his injuries and died. The victim has been identified as Kirk Matthews, 24, of Toronto.
