On Saturday September 5th, 2009 at approximately 3:45 AM the Toronto Police Service received reports of a shooting which had occurred at the corner of Front Street East and Lower Sherbourne Street. (51 Division)
Emergency Services attended and located a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
The investigation has determined that the deceased had been in the area of the shooting for most of the night and as such investigators are interested in speaking to anyone who may have been in the area between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM.
The deceased has been identified as Kamal HERCULES, 21 years of age, of Toronto.
An autopsy was conducted and the cause of death is attributed to “Multiple Gunshot Wounds”.
The investigation continues.
