The following are the circumstances surrounding the death of Lorelei Brose at the Inglewood Arms Hotel on Sunday, November 17th, 1985.
At approximately 2:15 a.m. police from 52 Division were in the vicinity of the Inglewood Arms Hotel at 295 Jarvis Street. Two females exited the Hotel and asked for the assistance of the officers inside stating that someone was dead.
The officers proceeded to the Hotel where they found the body of a young female lying on the floor.
Ambulance personnel responded to the scene but to no avail.
The Coroners Office was notified and attended at the scene and officially pronounced death. A post mortem examination was conducted. Ms. Brose had been shot to death.
Homicide Squad officers were notified and attended and took charge of the investigation.
Investigation has determined that there was a disturbance inside the room in the early morning hours.
The investigation is continuing.
