The following are the circumstances surrounding the discovery of Kelly Mombourquette at the rear of 300 Yorkland Blvd in North York, Ontario.
At approximately 7:30 a.m. on Monday, October 29, 1987, the now deceased female was discovered by a woman on her way to work. The body was located in the parking lot of 300 Yorkland Blvd.
Uniform officers from 33 Division responded to the call in company with paramedics from Toronto Department of Ambulance Services
Divisional investigators from 33 Division attended at the scene and conducted initial investigations.
Sergeants John Line and Michael Hovey and Michael Boyd of the Homicide Squad were notified attended at the scene and took charge of the investigations.
A Post Mortem examination was performed and the cause of death was determined to be INCISED WOUND TO THE NECK.
