Details of Investigation
The following are the circumstances surrounding the death of Vu Khoa KIEU.

On Saturday January 6, 2001, at 4:12 a.m., a resident of the Rosedale community was walking a dog on Scholfield Avenue, in the Roxborough Drive, Mt. Pleasant Road area. At this time, the resident came across the body of a male, lying face down, in the center of the roadway.

Detectives of Forensic Identification were notified and took charge of the scene.

Detectives Mark MENDELSON (2745), Keith BRADSHAW (184) and R.C.M.P. Constable Al ROBERTS (3929), on secondment, were notified, attended and took charge of the investigation.

The cause of death has been determined to be a GUNSHOT WOUND.

The investigation is continuing.
