At the time of her death the deceased was a “crack” cocaine abuser who both smoked and injected the illicit substance. To support her addiction she prostituted herself on the streets of Parkdale.
Needless to say, her lifestyle had its inherent dangers in that on any given day she would be intimate with strangers.
Investigations to this date have determined that she was last seen alive in a “crack house” early Friday morning, October 28th, 1994.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., the same date, a man walking his dog along Lake Ontario between the Palais Royale Ballroom, 1601 Lakeshore Boulevard West and the Boulevard Club discovered her partially clad body, face down and partially submerged, bobbing in the water, approximately two feet from the shorelines.
Her body bore extensive evidence of trauma.
The mortally injured female was then dumped in the water just off shore.
Because of the break water and little current in the area, the remains were for all intent and purpose dormant, until discovered.
On Saturday, October 29th, 1994, a Post Mortem examination was completed and the cause of death listed as: ASPHYXIA.
The investigation is continuing.
