During the 1970’s, Alexander Romeo LeBlanc was a well known member of Toronto's gay community. He lived at 16 St. Joseph Street in downtown Toronto.
Mr. LeBlanc was commonly known as "Sandy" and was the manager of a dance club.
During the late afternoon of Wednesday, September 20th, 1978, friends of Mr. LeBlanc had difficulty contacting him. Shortly after 7:00 p.m., they went over to his apartment, forced their way in and discovered his lifeless body inside.
An autopsy determined the cause of death to be multiple stab wounds.
Investigators need the public’s help to discover the person or persons responsible for this homicide.
