Deputy Chief Peter Sloly oversees Executive Command which provides high-value customer service, internally and externally, with a specific mandate to deliver strategic planning, corporate communications, legal services and risk management support to the Chief of Police, the command officers and all members of Toronto Police Service (TPS).

Executive Command is made up of three functional pillars: Professional Standards, Legal Services and Corporate Services. Corporate Planning, Property & Evidence Management, Video Services, Public Information, Audit & Quality Assurance, Records Management and the Crime Information Analysis Unit are all business units within Executive Command.

With a total operating budget of $31 million, Executive Command has over 400 dedicated professionals, uniform and civilian, who bring a diverse range of knowledge, skills, and abilities to their job functions. Our members may work behind the scenes but they make a big difference to public safety and the quality of life in the City of Toronto!
