Work is proceeding well with of all aspects of the project. The structure is currently progressing from the basement level to the ground floor level. The masons have started to structurally reinforce the existing 1913 school building with interior block partitions.
This view of the project from across Davenport Road shows how the building is starting to take shape with the arrival of structural steel on site.
Interior steel and block work begins to create and define the areas which will become the offices and community spaces.
Structural seismic reinforcement continues on the 1913 portion of the building.
This involves the reinforcement of existing structures to make them more resistant to seismic activity, ground motion, or soil failure due to earthquakes.
This photo of the basement area of the former school library again shows how the structural reinforcement of the 1913 building is proceeding.
