11 Division - new site
Introduction
The current 11 Division located at 209 Mavety Street was built in the 1950’s and has become obsolete. A new building is long overdue. The Toronto Police Service was fortunate to acquire the old Carleton Village Public School (South Building) located at 2054 Davenport Road as a location for our new facility.
On Tuesday the 7th of October 2008 the future location for 11 Division officially became the property of the Toronto Police Service.
This is an excellent location, offering good access for the community and ample space to meet all the needs of the new station.
This project is on schedule and actual on site work will begin in the near future. Our anticipated occupancy of the completed building is November 2011.
